Fundación Crack the Code reached more than 5,500 students across Antioquia, northwest Colombia, and helped 35 public schools access top‑tier technology for the first time. This was made possible with Akamai Foundation’s support, opening the door for students in rural and underserved areas to experience education in emerging technologies. The program brought STEM learning, with an emphasis on computer science and AI, directly into 10th and 11th grade curriculums. By making these subjects part of students’ regular school schedule, Fundación Crack the Code provided critical opportunities to build the skill set necessary to flourish in today’s digital world.
